makin pizza at home has endless possibilities from taco to bacon cheese burger , blt , white garlic, bbq chicken, breakfast, ruben ect…what ever floats yo boat ive made em all and it beats da hell outta that frozen shit and is cheaper too in da long run well start with da basic pepperoni n ill blog sum others later. u just gotta get da dough down then u good to go and u can use da dough recipe for garlic bread sticks garlic knots. hot pockets stromboli. kinda endless. heres what we need

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast

1 tsp. sugar

3/4 cup hot water

1/2 tbsp. garlic salt

canned pizza sauce is fine

shredded pizza blend or mozzarella cheese shredded yo self

pepperoni

grab a measurin cup n fill it wit da 3/4 water from da faucet n microwave it til its at 110°f plus or minus 5°f cuz thats bout the temp the yeast activates to hot will kill it n not hot enough wont wake it up. just use a digital themostat k. n after its at temp add the 2 1/4 tsp. of this the active dry yeast and the 1 tsp. sugar

mix em all real good n let sit bout 10 min

u can c we got a rise outta da yeast after bout 10 min and has activated and foamed up so its good to go

now dump exactly 1 3/4 cup of da all purpose flour into a bowl n add da garlic salt

now dump da water n yeast mixture into da flour n wit a fork stir it for bout 15 to 2o seconds n heres da tricky part. if its not holding together as a ball of dough n seems crumbly add bout a tablesoon of hot water n stir again for bout 10 sec folding in into itself n if it seemed to pasty n wet add a tablesoon of flour n stir 10 sec n see where your at.

should look bout like this. holdin together but not overly wet lol. its real important to measure flour n water out exactly n sum times i need a splash more water n not flour. then let it rest for boot 10 min or so

k plop that bad boy out onto da center of a greased up pizza pan. just spray it wit sum pam or olive oil. the dough should all come out da bowl as one piece n be a bit sticky

now we gonna hit da dough wit a small handfull of flour to help make it easier to press into a large thin circle

start pressin down in out in all directions. make sure you rub yo hands in sum flour as needed so da dough dont stick to u n try not to make it so thin u get holes in da dough if u do push sum dough back over em n sprinkle flour over any sticky areas that are givin u problems lol just spin da pan n work da dough out to all sides youll get it

k we covered a whole 16in pan wit da dough and its pretty thin

sauce time. drizzle away. but dont over do it or your dough wont cook right

now spread it out nice n even n grab yo cheese

sprinkle you cheese out in a nice even layer n once again dont over do it. if u got a mountain of cheese its gonna melt n run off da sides like cheezy gooey tastey lava lol. so resist da urge n go easy k

now go nutz wit da pepperoni. it dont hurt nuttin lol and any seasoning u want at this time or parmisain cheese

pre heat yo oven to 510° and throw it in for bout 9 to 10 min tops on the middle rack at that heat the crust will burn quick so keep an eye on it. we cook hot n fast to get that crispy crust

pull it when it looks bout like this. light brown crust cheese is toasty then u good to go

bottom should be lightly brown n crispy

n there ya go. if u want sausage. grab u a roll of ground italian sausage n pull small pieces off n drop em righ on there raw n theyll be fully cooked after 9 to 10 min at this temp. ill put onions, green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, ect.. along wit da sausage n pepperonis n add canadian bacon lol but it takes a bit longer to cook so i drop da temp to 475° so i dont burn da crust n go 15 min cook time

thats more like it then hit it wit bannana peppers. jalapenos or just sum hot giardiniera which is my fave

i make da little guys just pepperoni alot so i gotta hit it wit dat good good hot giardiniera n parm fo me lol

oh shit now u got my buzzed ass rantin bout giardiniera n i can spell it cause i got a jar lol u gotta get da good shit not da hyvee t margezzi or margetiz or whatever bullshit wanna be crap u need this or marconi which u gotta get at sams or that place by metro center gsp gcs or wtf ever lol or my fave that i cant think of but kroger stopped sellin to make room for that healthy organic crap lol but its made in illinois n has a blue lable n starts wit a R like rocconi but anyway we live in da chicago area n have a shit ton of good giard around.thanx to italian heritage just look for small cuts of seranno peppers califlower carrots red peppers onion n small whole green olives drownded by olive oil n vinagar n garlic. i make it sum times but cant figure out how to can it safely cause of da oil so i gotta eat it all within a few weeks lol k rant over but im sure ill revisit said rant on my italian beef blog lol k soooo theres my pizza. ill blogg more kinds also ill use big baking pans too cook pizza on to. just spray em good wit olive oil first
