we all know that spaghetti is da go to cheap dinner for any family that can feed hundreds n still have leftovers sum how lol and who doesnt love spaghetti just cauz they know they gonna get sum type of garlic bread too i make the knots and breadsticks a few times a week cause i always got the ingredients n the boys love em for just a snack or as dinner. they aint rite. lol.and for da sauce theres nuttin wrong wit store bought but making it is actually cheaper if u got da seasoning already n my boys are used to me makin it i havent bought sauce for like 12 years lol n this is for them so heres what we need

for the knots and cheesy stuffed sticks

i use my pizza dough recipe (its a few post back but heres da ingredients)

3/4 c. hot water

1-3/4 c. all purpose flour

2 -1/4 tsp. dry active yeast

1/2 tsp. sugar

garlic salt

for the rest of the stuff

olive oil

shredded mozzarella cheese

melted butter

onion powder

garlic powder

dry parsly flakes

parmasean cheese

k and for da spaghgetti

1 box spaghetti noodles or what ever u want

2lbs.ground beef

1lb. ground italian sausage

half a small onion

1-1/2 tbsp. minced garlic. or more lol

1 reg can tomato paste

1 6oz. can tomato paste

1 32.oz big can crushed tomatoes

2 32.oz cans tomatoe sauce

1 tbsp. olive oil

onion powder

garlic powder

crushed fennel seed

salt

black pepper

italian seasoning

oregano

basil

sugar

splash or red wine if u got it

sounds like alot but u probably got most of it in yo cabinets already. i usually just gotta get meat n noodles and a onion lol. k. first well get on da sauce. dice up da onion super fine and add it along wit the oil and garlic to a large pot and cook it all for bout 5 min on med high just to release da flavors then add yo meats into it and break em up really good wit a spatula n fill da pot wit water til it just covers da meat and bring to a boil stirring and breakin da meat up often then reduce heat to low n simmer for bout half a hour or til da water reduces down

after it reduces down it should look bout like this

now we can add da tomato pastes

and mix it in good and continue cookin on low til its all melted up

now we can add the can of crushed tomatoes and tomatoe sauces . i used sum canned tomatoes i made from moms garden since we had so many lol

now we gonna mix em n good and turn da heat up to med high to melt up them maters lol and add our seasonings which i dont measuse so imma just kinda give u a idea of how much lol i know i know not much help but any good sauce need constant adjustments right lol. i go real heavy on the onion n garlic powder and italian seasoning. light on salt. pepper fennel and basil and only bout a 2 tbsp. sugar. unless u like a sweet sauce. i only use it to cut into da acidity from da tomatoes. and ya a splash of red wine unless u drank it all which is fine. after u got your seasoning in there keep cookin on med high constantly stirrin til it starts to bubblin up n throwin molten hot sauce all over lol at that point cut da heat to low n cover da pot most da way to allow moisture to escape but not let sauce splatter out into your face lol n simmer bout a hour or till it reduces n thickins up sum stirrin bout every 5 min or so

k while da sauce simmers well get on da garlic breads. follow my recipe to make da dough from the pizza post i made here http://wp.me/p7JKCX-cS hope that works lol. (and when u stir da mix 2gether u ususlly need bout a tbsp more water ) then after u made the dough hit it wit a bit of olive oil n knead it a few more times n let it sit in da bowl covered for half a hour to let it rise sum. i dont let it rise for da pizza cause i like a thinner crust

k should of got bigger by now. yup

now flour up a clean area of yo counter n drop da dough ball on it

n hit da top wit a bit of flour n press it out to a big rectangle bout 1/4 inch thick or so dont gotta be perfect

k now at this point we decide what that dough gonna be when it grows up lol. well start wit da knots by cuttin da dough wit a pizza cutter bout half to 3/4 in. wide for da cheesy stuffed sticks well go bout a inch and a half wide so for da knots it should look like this n u can even half da strips to make small knots

then grab u a big cookin pan sheet thing n cut parchment paper to line it. not sure y but da paper keeps anything from burnin up cause it provides a barrier between hot ass pan n dough i guess lol

k. take them dough strips n do yo best to knot em up n place em on da sheet dont gotta be perfect sailor

after they knotted up well go all MERICA on they ass n hit em wit sum melted butter dont be shy brush away

now that we got em buttered up lets hit em wit sum onion powder garlic powder garlic salt and parmasean cheese n dont be shy like always

now put em in a preheated oven at 400° for 10 min then well pull em n hit em again wit a big ol dose of MERICA ( butter ) n sum parsly flakes then back into da oven for bout 8 to 10 min til done

n here ya go. light fluffy buttery garlicy

n crispy thanx to da butter n parchment

k well rewind n do these as if they gonna be cheese stuffed garlic bread sticks lol. its all da same process except we go gonna cut da dough wider like i said so we can stuff em wit da mozzarella

press da dough down nice n wide n place da cheese length wise in da center then roll it into a bread stick n place it on da paper

k repeat till doughs gone n treat em like the knots after that followin da same steps

now da garlic breads ready. make yo noodles as the box says n u good to go just rinse da noodles off after u strain em or they gonna stick together n either mix em into da sauce or ladle sauce over yo noodles. how ever u roll. i usually mix em all eventually lol n there ya go

n da best part of leftovers is da spaghetti taco. uh ya u heard me lol. just reheat yo sketti n hit it wit sum mozzarella n parmasean n put dat good good in a taco shell wit sum hot sauce sooo good. sumthin bout da pasta n corn tortilla feels so wrong but tastes soooooo rite lol. got da idea watchin icarly wit riley one nite n he said can u make that dad n i said challange accepted my dude lol. sooo good
