Soooooops lol n thick ones too n they dont get much thicker than chowders n its boot to get cold round here so we need sum stick to yo bones thick ass soups n this one does da trick. its got alot goin on in it but is easy n pretty quick 2 make n my boys like it so stock up on crackers n get ready to get filled wit chowder lol
we not cracker lackin round here. lol. like i think its a problem

heres what we need
5 boneless chicken thighs
4 strips of bacon
1/4.c all purpose flour
32oz. box chicken stock
2.c milk
2.c heavy cream or half n half
1/4.c diced onion
1.cup chopped carrots
4.cloves garlic
3.c cubed russet potatoes
2.c corn. canned or frozens fine
8.oz shredded sharp chedder cheese
1ts. each of thyme, oregano, salt and pepper
1.tbsp chopped parsley
k first cut up yo veggies dice n mince yo onion as small as possible in a food processor or chopper if ya got one n cut n cube 3 or 4 russet potatoes into little half inch cubes u dont gotta peel em if u dont want n chop up a few carrots into small rings or chunks n add em all to a stock pot. then peel your garlic cloves n either dice em or put em in a garlic press n add em to da pot along with the chicken thighs

then add the chicken stock n a few shakes of salt

n bring to a boil then turn off da burner n cover the pot for boot 20 min to poach da chicken n make the best chicken stock ever cuz u made stock wit stock lol🤯🤪🤣😁

k while thats poachin away cook u up 4 or 5 strips of bacon. yall know i make em in da oven by placing them in a cold oven then turnin da temp up to 375° for boot 15 min

gotta make extra rite😁lol k drain n dry em n set em aside n get back to da stock which should be ready to drain n seperate the goodies from the stock so grab sum tongs n remove the chicken from the pot n chop em up

k just set da chicken aside for now n get a strainer n a big bowl n pour the rest of the pot into it to get da stock out n seperated then add the goodies from the strainer to a pot

k now add your 1/4.c flour to da strained out stock n whisk it up real good

now add the stock mix back to da pot with the veggies n add the milk n cream n seasonings n chicken n bring to a boil for 25 min. stiring ever couple min or so

now we can turn da heat down to med n add da cheese n as always its best to shred it yourself…js😉

k stir it in til its melted n smooth then add yo 2 cups of corn n 5 strips of crumbled bacon n parsley

n cook a few more min on med n its good to go or simmer on low to thicken up even more. up to u

bowl up
