last time i ever been to a kfc was when they still had a buffet n u could get all the goodies u wanted n i would cover my plate n mashed potatoes n gravy n drop chicken n what ever else all over it lol but they closed all the buffets n then years later they came out wit the famous bowl which is what i was doing wit their food anyway lol i never had one but thought it be a good cheap dinner for da boys n it was even tho 2 of em dont want it mixed up lol🙄 but no worries its still a quick go to even if i gotta seperate sum for em. heres what we need

one big pack of raw chicken tenderloins

lots of flour

onion powder , salt , garlic powder , paprika , black pepper , curry powder , poultry seasoning , oregano , and thyme

3 eggs

milk

cooking oil

chicken boullion cube

1/2.c butter

box of instant mashed potatoes

pack of instant brown or country gravy

2 cans corn

shredded colby jack cheese

k. first we gotta cut each strip of

our chicken in half n put em in a pot of cold water n add a tbsp. of salt to brine up them burds. then cover the pot n set in fridge for a few hours so the salt can do its job. brining gives u juicier chicken. its science or sumpthin lol. we covered this before 🙃

when u ready to get cookin. get u a big bowl n add bout 5 cups of flour n hit it heavy wit all the seasoings and get a seperate smaller bowl n crack yo eggs in it n whisk bout a half cup milk into it too

now fill your dutch oven or whatever u gonna fry in bout half way full of oil n no more n set your burner to med high. were lookin to get up to 375° cuz when u drop a batch of chicken in itll drop to bout 350° n thats what we wanna cook at. so then get yo chicken out n drop bout 8 to 10 pieces into to flour n then the egg n back to da flour n remember the one dry hand n one wet hand rule so u dont get them clumpy fingers

then u can let em rest on a wire rack til oils good to go

k oils at 375° drop in bout 8 to ten at at time n fry for 5min

now while da chicken is coolin go ahead n make your instant mashed taters as da box says n your gravy as the packet says cuz im not gonna help wit dat lol. i use the instant brown gravy for this cuz no beef to make real gravy from but i will make country white gravy rite quick from scratch for this cuz its just 1/2.c butter, 1/2.c flour, 4.c milk ,a little salt, pepper n 1 chicken boullion cube. just melt butter n pan on med heat n add flour n make a paste n stir for a few min then whisk in milk , seasoning n boullion cube n bring to a boil then reduce heat to low til thick

k when u got yo corn, mashed taters n gravy ready go ahead n assemble yo bowls n dont forget to add da cheese lol

fairly quik , easy n cheap dinner that can be adjusted to suit all n stoopid good. thanx colonel lol
