AVANTI’S GONDOLA LIKE BREAD

gondolas at home uhh yes please lol. da boys are always down for sammiches n i never have anything better to do on a sat or sunday but to make bread. u know. guy stuff lol. its worth the wait time n havent found a sammich yet it doesnt make better n makes da best garlic bread if any makes it past a few days heres what we need

10 to 11 cups all purpose flour

1 1/4.c sugar

4 1/2.ts dry active yeast

1/2.c hot water

3.c water

3 large eggs

3.tbs melted butter

1.ts salt

k first mix da yeast n 1/2.c hot water (tempt out to 110°) 2gether n let it sit to activate for bout 10 min

then get a big ass bowl like huge n pour n da 3 cups of water , whisk in da eggs, n sugar, salt ,melted butter and the activated yeast damn look a me usin comma’s n shit lol

after u get it all mixed up good start adding 10 cups of flour stirrin after every couple cups. leave out da 11th cup for now

should look like theres not enough liquid to soak up all that flour but keep stirrin cause it will thats when youll probably need that 11th cup of flour. or not. u be da judge. i stir it up enough till i can get my paws n there n its not to sticky thats were i usually need da extra cup of flour. this recipe is just a bit to big for my mixer or id use it for real lol

k after its sum what formed together ill dump it out to a lightly floured area n knead da shit outta it for like 5 to 8 min or til i cant move my hands anymore lol it should feel solid n tacky but not dry at all. if its to dry knead n sum water n if its so sticky it wont come of da counter knead in more flour. its dough yo it can be an asshole lol

now that u lost all feelin n yo hands theres only one thing to do. noo not that lol grab u another big ass bowl n spray it down wit cookin spray n drop that mutha n there n then flip it once to coat it all then cover it loosly wit foil or a towel

find a warmish place to set it and da real fun begins waitin a hour n a half or 2 hours if its cold in da house. we waitin for it to rise

damn thanx sam lol. now that it doubled up we get to take out sum frustrations n beat it down


aww all that for nuttin lol. now cover it back up n let rest for bout 45 minutes then drop it out on a lightly floured area

then grab u a knife n cut it up into 6 to 7 ballz

place the ballz on a bakin sheet n cover em for 10min then one by one press em flat to get any air out n roll em into foot long loafs

then space em out on a few bakin pans lined wit parchment paper n cover em n let sit to rise AGAIN😠 for 1 hour

finnally they ready to go into da oven at 350° for bout 25 to 28 min u can tell they done when they are lightly browned n hollowish soundin when u tap on the tops. pull em let em cool on sum wire racks n try n resist grabin sum butter n treatin like huge ass breadsticks lol.

n just plastic wrap up da rest. its good for sammiches for bout 3 days then its garlic bread bound n bread crumbs after that. theres actually not much work other than the mixin n kneadin. its mostly just waitin round for em to rise a few times but if i can do it its not that hard lol n way better than store bought
