TATER SKINZ

footballs finally back n i have a excuse to make crap like this at 11am on sundays again lol. we did wings already now lets get on their bestest friend cause as a bears fan u gotta be like well least we eatin good lmao

grab u a bag of russett potatoes. try n get a bag wit smaller ones but it dont matter who doesnt love a big ass tato skin lol i use 10 to 12

fry oil as usual dealers choice

shredded colby jack or whatever u like

BACON. lol bout a pound

sour cream or ranch or both

green onions

garlic salt

k pretty simple list. these are gonna be your traditional skins but feel free to do what u wanna do to em their your taters.

start by washin yo spuds n puttin bout 5 to 6 on a plate and into da microwave for 10 min rotatin and flippin after 5min amd DONT POKE EM WIT A FORK itll cause da skins to break apart later when we scoop em out believe me lol. i dont usually use da microwave for anything but corn dogs lol but it works better than boilin or using da oven to soften da spud and is way faster n the games on soon soooo chop chop lol. plus boiling tends to loosen da skins from the spuds which is great if u makin mashed but not so good here and the skins get over soggy too. ive made these a hundred times like most of my blog shit so i try n remember stuff i messed up n tell ya so u dont go down that road your welcome lmfao. (UPDATE) put em in oven af 400° for 1 hour our til internal temp is round 200 to 215. or just do what u do

ohhh ya. best part of anything u make is puttin dat sweet underbelly all over it lol cook your bacon while the spuds are in the micro. i put mine on a foil lined pan for easy cleaining later lol and put it in a cold oven then set da oven to 445° when the oven reaches temp i pull da bacon. drain da fat and put it back in for bout 5 min or til its almost crispy. bacon like most meat will continue to cook a bit after u remove it from da heat so dont leave it in if it looks bout done unless u like burn bacon which is fine then after u remove it place bacon on cookie rack or paper towel and bout this time get your cookin oil up to temp no hotter than 375° in a big dutch oven or whatever u deep fry in

now u got da bacon done n oil heatin up time to remove them spuds n slice em in half. they should be soft but not squishy

after they sliced in half grab u a spoon n start scoopin em out making sure to hold em tight wit your hand all around em keepin pressue on the sides so u dont break em.get most but not all of the spud scooped leave at least a quarter inch all around if not more. if they are to hot to hold let em cool off or use a towel or oven mit to hold em ya baby lol and if they dont scoop easy put em back in da micro for another couple minutes

n dont throw out them scoopins lol. put em in a pot wit sum milk butter n salt n heat til smooth addin more milk if needed n booom mashed taters u can fully load wit leftover cheese bacon sour cream ect… again your welcome lol

oils up to temp n spuds are all scooped n ready to fry so drop em in carefully and dont over crowd em. n let em fry for bout 6 min seperating em if they clump 2gether

k straight out da fryer i put em on sum paper towels skin side up for a min cause they can hold alotta oil then move em to a cookie sheet so they dont sit in the oil n get soggy oh and while they oily i hit em wit lawerys garlic salt so it sticks or for mine i use that hot slap yo momma….so good itll make ya lol.

come on now thats a sexy pic u know u like it lol

grab u a pan n place all your skins on it time to get to the good part

stuff em hard wit your cheese dont be shy the more the better and same goes for the bacon u crumbled up ya crumble it up forgot to tell ya lol n try to get as much cheese as u can off da cooking sheet or itll burn n stick to da skins lol. now off to da oven at 350° for 10 min we fryed em to get that crispyness now we gotta melt all that good good cheese

now plate em up n hit em wit sum chopped green onion n sum sour cream or ranch or hot sauce ect… do what u like but hurry up n get your drink da games bout on fool lol
