grillin 101.not rocket science  if u got a grill im sure u rockin burgers n brats just fine. this is to make sure my boys know how dad does it and theres no wrong way to burn up sum meat lol so  to each their own  ive tried alotta ways of goin at it over da years but thats how ya learn n everydays a school day so kiss yo momma at da bus stop cause imma take yo asses to burger n brat school. cue da music  

love that song lol.  so first we need to grab us sum ground beef n brat links.  i use da 73/ 27 ground beef cause the high fat content means juicier burgers and any old brats on sale.  beer  cheese hot ect…whatever u like 

cheap ass beer for the beer bath hot tub jacuzzi. natty light or da beast works lol

an onion n green pepper for da beer bath

burger buns n sausage buns

salt pepper onion powder n garlic powder and worcestershire sauce to season burger  i.like using lipton beefy onion or mushroom soup mix but nooooo. sum dont like da onion textures lol picky picky picky

sliced or shredded cheeses and what ever fixin u like on burgers n brats.  dont feel like i need to say that lol. 

now we gotta get da grill goin. u know i only roll wit charcoal  so we gotta light up da chimney starter wit bout 15 coals n add bout 20 coals to da side of da grill settin it up for indirect heat. ya indirect chill out youll c lol

now in bout 15 min we can dump the chimney onto da pile put da lid on  n let da grill get up to 400°….ish lol. meanwhile well dump our ground beef into a big bowl n add a bunch of our seasonings n a few good shakes of worcestershire n hand mix that meat up good

now if u done playin wit yo meat we need to make up sum patties. i use a old cereal bowl lookin thing so i get perfectly uniform patties cauz they cook evenly n dont swell up into weird ass lookin footballs that way lol. formin em by hand causes a uneveness and smaller sides than in da middle. if da middle of da burger is thicker than da sides booom football burger lol still tasty just harder to top wit goodies

if u can find sumthin in da house burger shaped use it if not id go get a patty former for like 5 bucks its worth it or anything to form em or just use your hands i dont care lmao

u can c the tops n sides are pretty flat so they wont swell up when da heat draws out da fat n shrinks yo meat lol shut up its cold in here  n speakin of meat in a tube lets get on them brats while we waitin on da grill

grab yo meat n start a sausage party in a pot

then dice up a green pepper n half a white or yellow onion in toss em in

now no sausage party is complete without sum cheap ass beer so get their party started till there covered. bout 3 cans should do it. there driving so…  now u dont have to use beer at all u can use water or chicken broth ect  but beers da way to go duhhh lol  anyway  after they covered put em on da stove on high til they boil then drop da heat to low n simmer uncovered for bout 20min  k back to da grill

coals in da chimney were good to go so i dumped em on da pile n placed the grate on and da lid. should be hot enough in bout 20 min 

k were bout at 400° so i dropped a chunk of apple wood on da coals cause thats what i do lol. not necessary but awesome lol. and now we gonna add da burgers. what we wanna do is get em just about over the coal so we can sear em n trap n sum juices. but we got alotta burgers n using indirect heat we can only get bout 4 at a time over the heat so well start with 4 over da heat n da rest will wait a sec.  now put da lid on in wait bout 3 min then well flip the 4 over closest to da heat

k its been a few min and i flipped the 4 closest to da heat over n well put da lid back on in give em another couple min then rotate them to the back n add the others close to da heat n repeat da process.  we want each burger to get bout 3 min on each side right up on da heat to get sum char marks n seal in da juices a bit then moved back to the other side of da grill to cook  i use da indirect method cause i get a way juicier burger than if i cook em directly over the coals n end up with a flare up induced burnt dried up hockey puck with a pink center lol. n pink centers are fine if u bought from da butcher or sum 10 dollar a pound organic shit but not if u got da walmart or kroger pink slime in a tube like i buy cause its cheap lol. i make sure that shit is cooked through. steaks a different story tho lol well do that soon

now they all had they turn in da fire on both sides so well move em to da back n make room for other things comin lol.  and when u move em DO NOT FLIP EM lol oh ya im usin caps im for real lol.  they should only be flipped one time only when u searin da other side n thats it  flippin em does no good. u want that fat to render out n baist da burger n keep it moist n if u keep flippin it u flippin off da fat poolin up on top goof lol. if u grillin burgers u aint on no diet so stop flippin off that good good lol. tell em ronald he knows 

he will too. he dont play. lol. im entertaining myself lol  now lets talk bout them buns. i like toasted buns n i can not lie. ill save u da sir mix a lot meme   your welcome but ya now we got room for them buns get em on da grill  c i got a system son lol

like da burgers rotate em off da heat. bout 30 sec over da heat n they good to go dont burn yo buns lol

now the burgers been grillin for bout 10 min now so we can cheese em up. all i had was sum shredded cheddar but it works. use what u like . u can c how the apple wood turns da burgers a nice red color. sexy lol

k burgers are bout done just bout another 8 to 10 min they almost to 160°  n were shootin for bout 170°  internal temp cause they cheap ass meat lol so time to add da brats right over da heat since they fully cooked after the beer bath hot tubbin we just lookin to brown em up n get sum char n grill flavor n put da lid on. after ever thing we do put da lid on  sorry if i didnt say that. indirect cookin requires da lid on so if u not messin wit meat or buns keep da lid on lol

after bout 5 min roll them brats over n get da other side charred.  ya u know u like them crocs stop hatin.   always take your sausage advice from a guy in camo crocs.  its basic knowledge

think we bout done.  been bout 10 min n brats look pretty brown n burgers are at bout 167° close enough

now return them bad boys to they beer bath hot tub till u ready to eat.  i put da bath in a pan so i can save what we dont eat for later  reheats better lol

n bun up yo burgers. i was short a bun so that ones a meat cookie lol

just tryin to sell da smoke lol. u can c da red smoke ring on this burger. just drop a small chunk of smoke wood on da coals just before da meat goes on  youll thank me. crazy better than without
