stupid snows fallin down all over so what better to make than the most versitle of all da soups lol. it can get alotta different dinners goin wit da leftovers n make u feel like da bubba gump of chili lol
heres what we need
1.lbs ground beef. i use 73/27 for da fat lol.
1.lb ground sausage
1.lb ground sirloin
1 box 32.oz beef broth
1 box 48.oz beef broth
2 28.oz cans crushed tomatoes
2 15.oz cans red beans mostly drained
1 15.oz can pinto beans
1 15.oz can black beans
1. 15.oz can kidney beans
1 12.oz can tomatoe paste
half a medium white onion diced super fine
1.tbs minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp salt
1.tsp garlic powder
1.tsp onion powder
1/4.tsp thyme
3/4.tbsp cumin
3 1/2.tbsp chili powder at least
1.tbsp ancho chili powder
1/2.tbsp curry powder
1/4.c brown sugar to offset da acids
1.tbsp cocoa powder
1/4.tsp allspice
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp. turminic
1.tsp nutmeg
2 beef boulion cubes
splash of woreshestershire
damn thats alota crap lol. my chili recipe has changed over the last 12 or so years but has been the same the last 3 ish lol.i was always tweekin but finally found my jam i like that beefy chili taste like steak n shake chili which mine is pretty close n if u like a thicker chili use less tomatoes and beef broth. n if u like wendys chili use more tomatoes n less beef broth i also make a straight beef n no mater chili ill blog sumtime . super unhealthy but soooo good lol its like eating chili meat gravy wit beans. should be illegal lol. but ok nuff rantin. lets go. first we need to put our onions in a chopper so they super fine n put them and our minced garlic in a big ass pot
now add your 3 meats n use a spatula n chop it up real good
k now we gonna add a box of beef broth to barely cover da meat
k off to da stove to bring to a boil n make sure to keep breakin down the meat wit da spatula n it should start to look like meat soup soon lol which is good cause it means da meat is breakin up n gettin tender before it cooks so well have super fine chili meat
after it boils reduce da heat to low n simmer til meat is brown n liquid has reduced sum. i cook my chili meat. taco meat and spagheti meat the same way cause pan fryin just toughens da meat in causes big clumps this way u get more tender meat n texture. oohh big words i know lol im growin lol. so after a bit we should be lookin like this
now we got all that good good beef broth so take the tomatoe paste n drop it in
bring da pot to a boil or close n simmer for bout 20 min
add yo crushed tomatoes n other box of beef broth n boulion cubes n all your seasonings n beans wit just a bit of liquid from the red kidney bean can n stir up real good and bring to boil again
after it starts boilin drop da heat n simmer for least a hour to reduce sum liquid out n start tasting too add more seasoning if needed. i gave yall a estimate of what i use( u should know by now i dont measure shit lol ) u may need more i always do lol usually ill add a bit more chili powder n salt but its up to your tastes buds i never have used those chili seasonin packs but im not knockin em i just like to do my own thing but anyway after bout a hour u should be good to go u can c it reduced down a bit
n boom. day one of chili is ready and its at its soupiness if thats a word. fuck it it is now lol
opps forgot sumthin
ahhhh. f u winter lol. but fast forward to day two of chili. i grab a handfull of spagheti noodles boil em up n add a mix of 3 parts ketchup to one part woresershire sauce
then drop that reheated chili n sum cheese n onions on top n BOOOOOOM steak n shake style chili 5 way whaaatttt lol (cincinnati chili) n a bit of parmesan cheese lol
soooo good. then either we have day 3 of chili or i’ll freeze it but there u go u cant loose wit chili lol
